"I hate it, but when I’m busy or overwhelmed, tidying is abandoned with ease. The only time I want to clean is when I need to write, and then suddenly, I simply cannot be creative until my home is perfectly neat."

Ummmm this is me? And the shame aspect of all this is very real. Thanks for this book rec! PSA: If you have Spotify Premium, this audiobook is avail for download at no extra cost. Going to listen immediately!

Oh that's great to know! It's only 3-ish hours too so won't eat up your free 10 hours. I think you'll love it but let me know once you finish!

I listened and cried a couple of times lol. Lots of useful strategies for those of us who struggle with mental health issues or executive functioning. I love how she makes a point of distinguishing "laziness" from struggles with "task initiation" (and reminds us that most of us aren't actually lazy at all). Lots of useful little tips for keeping on top of household management. She really thought of everything -- a chapter on what to do if taking a shower feels hard! I mean...

Really needed her constant reminders of mess and dirt not being a moral failing. Needed to be reminded not to let perfect be the enemy of good. Needed her reminder that 3 minutes of exercise is better than zero minutes.

I have recommended this to so many people since listening. Thank you again!
