Thank you to everybody who is joining me for this big 3-month undertaking! I am bursting with excitement and gratitude.
It was an honor to connect with so many of you today. I know not everybody could make it, and hopefully, I’ll catch you at a later Zoom (or at an in-person meet-up!)
A few reminders:
The Artist’s Way is a test of self-compassion. Be kind to yourself, and just keep going.
Plan your artist dates in advance and put them in your calendar.
It’s better to write your morning pages in the afternoon or before bed than not at all.
Choose the affirmations that are hardest to read/write/say out loud.
If you miss a week, skip it and meet us at the week we’re doing.
Week 3-4 your ego/critic/that little voice in your head will be trying to convince you to quit. To come back to this when you have more time. This is the same voice that caused your creative blocks to begin with. Make friends …
